BaByliss Pro Nano Ionic Hair Dryer
The BaByliss Pro Nano Ionic Hair Dryer is clearly a very popular hair dryer judging from the reviews. Of those who purchased it 80% gave it a 5 rating and 13% gave it a four rating, making the total percentage of happy purchasers an impressive 93%.
It is obvious from studying the review comments this BaByliss Pro Nano Ionic Hair Dryer is a good buy. There are many comments about its price (reas. High) but after they have used it, it has exceeded their expectations and they say it is great value for money. Quite a few reviewers had been using lower priced hair dryers and many were frustrated they hadn’t tried this type sooner.
There were many comments made “That after drying my hair it was left shiny and frizzy free“. This comment also came from people whose daily struggle was to tame their hair. So long hair, short hair, fine hair, coarse hair, tight curls, loose curls the BaByliss Pro Nano Ionic Hair Dryer seemed to deal with them all.
There were also a few comments on how easy it was to use – it was not heavy and easily maneuverable.
Agreement was unanimous that using the BaByliss Pro Nano Ionic Hair Dryer saved a lot of time. Estimates ranged from a 50% to 70% saving, partly because there was no need for any extensive hair ironing to be done once the hair was dry. Even people with curly coarse hair were impressed with the finished result. One reviewer reckoned it cut drying her German Shepherd dog from two hours down to one hour.
The BaByliss Pro Nano Ionic Hair Dryer was also very good for children, the controls allowing for a quick drying time without burning ears or scalp!
Some people didn’t trust the rubber hook for hanging up the dryer.
So in light of this almost negative free review, we would highly recommend the BaByliss Pro Nano Ionic Hair Dryer as a real winner, and we have placed it in Position 2.
This is the second best hair dryer under 100 dollars. The Conair™ Infiniti Pro Hair dryer is ergonomically designed to make it more maneuverable for your drying routine, and the hair dryer uses ionic technology with the use of negative ions for the drying process. This is achieved with tourmaline crystals being embedded in ceramic blocks.
I am not sure if this is the right place to mention this, but one thing – don’t quote me on it, OK?
The negative ions are supposed to actually diffuse the water molecule clusters in your wet hair down to smaller particles that can enter the hair shaft and so rehydrate it. As well, the negative ions cause the cuticle on the hair shaft to lie flat so making your hair more manageable. The static electricity (+ve charge) is also minimized.
Whether the above is true I don’t know, but there are a lot of stories from people who have used both the non-ionic and ionic hair dryer who are positive that the ionic gives a better overall result – quicker drying and softer, non-frizzy hair.
The output of the Conair Infiniti Pro Hair dryer is 1875 Watts, with a more powerful motor from earlier models that is 15% lighter. A rocker switch controls the two speed settings that are available.
As I say quite often, we have found that Amazon.com have a wide range of high quality brands and models of hair dryer, including the Conair™ Infiniti Pro Hair dryer, at very good prices and providing great service.
The heating elements of the Conair™ Infiniti Pro Hair dryer transfer heat to ceramic blocks producing infrared heat that is apparently better for drying your hair. In similar fashion to the air speed settings, a rocker switch controls the three heat settings that are available. There is also a cold shot setting for styling etc.
An important part of any hair dryer is the filter, and the Conair™ Infiniti Pro Hair dryer has a removable filter for regular cleaning. The filter protects the internal workings of the hair dryer, and regular cleaning maintains optimal airflow which is vital for temperature control and longer life.
The Conair™ Infiniti Pro Hair dryer comes with two concentrator attachments to allow for your individual preference.
The weight of the Conair™ Infiniti Pro Hair dryer is 1.5 pounds.

There were quite a few users who thought the Conair Infiniti Pro Hair dryer was a bit heavy, making it a bit tiring to use. In terms of actual weight, however, at 1.5 pounds it is not the heaviest dryer out there. The vote by users on whether this hair dryer was quieter or louder than other dryers they had used was about a 50:50 vote.
A lot of users liked the heat and speed settings because the three heat settings and the two speed settings enabled them to find an ideal setting that suited their hair type. Most users were also impressed with the “blow” of the Conair™ Infiniti Pro Hair dryer.
Taking all the reviews together, people found the Conair™ Infiniti Pro Hair dryer to be good value for money, and realised it was not in the salon or professional dryer category.
It is a simple thing really but the quality of the hair you grow will depend hugely on what you eat and on your lifestyle.
Sheep’s wool is a great example of this. The farmer wants a long evenly grown staple of wool because he will get paid more for it. “Breaks” in the wool staple, or areas where the growth of the wool has slowed right down, are a no-no because they can’t be spun. These breaks are caused by stress. Either because of starvation because of drought or bad weather such as snow storms.
Now why am I talking about sheep and wool? Well our hair can be likened to wool and so it is logical that if we don’t eat and live right our hair will suffer, just like the sheep’s wool!
Hopefully, our list of the best hair dryer under $100 is helpful and will guide you to find the perfect dryer for your hair.
Next in our list of the best hair dryers under $100, is this amazing Andi ionic dryer. The Andis Professional ionic Hair Dryer is a dryer that uses the technology behind the use of negative ions to dry and treat hair.
The apparent science behind the use of negative ions for hair drying is that the negative ions are capable of diffusing the water molecule clusters in the hair to much smaller particles that are able to enter the hair and so rehydrate it. As well, the cuticles on the shaft of the hair are folded against the shaft so that hair feels softer.
I am not sure of the truth in the above statement only to say I have read comments from people who have tried both non-ionic as well as ionic hair dryers, and the conclusion is that their hair definitely feels and looks better after drying with the ionic hair dryers.
The output rating of the Andis Professional Ionic Hair Dryer is 1875 Watts, and is powered by a long life AC motor. The heat is generated via ceramic material so this means it is infrared radiation that is supposed to be good for drying your hair.
One thing we have encountered during our research is that Amazon.com holds a wide range of the most popular brands and models of hair dryers, including the Andis Professional ionic Hair Dryer.
The Andis Professional ionic Hair Dryer has four heat and four air speeds to give a good amount of flexibility for hair drying of various lengths and thicknesses. As well as the heat settings, there is also a cold shot option for final styling.
There is a long power cord on the Andis Professional ionic Hair Dryer that measures ten feet and it has an ALCI shock protection plug for added safety.
Included with the Andis Professional ionic Hair Dryer is a resin pick and resin concentrator as well as a metal concentrator.

Some users thought it was quiet others thought it was too loud – that’s life!
Quite a number of users thought the Andis Professional ionic Hair Dryer was quite heavy – some reckoned it was too heavy, and the buttons were in a silly place because while drying their hair they kept on turning it off. There was also a niggle that either the attachments wouldn’t fit or did not stay on.
In the context of this review, however, a number of people thought that the positives of the Andis Professional ionic Hair Dryer definitely outweighed some of the things that weren’t quite there like weight and button position. People generally used duck tape to hold the attachments on.

The negative ion generation in hair dryers helps smooth the cuticle of the hair to give the hair a shiny look. Some hair dryer brands use sparks to generate negative ions, some use tourmaline crystals, but the Elchim 2001 professional Hair Dryer uses a negative ion generating system that produces a steady flow of negative ions.
The Elchim 2001 professional Hair Dryer has five heat settings and two blower settings providing flexibility in its operation. It is a high pressure dryer but it will not overheat so will not “burn” or “cook” your hair . Elchim 2001 professional Hair Dryer Reviews
The Elchim 2001 professional Hair Dryer has a popular following and 67% of users rated it a grade 5 and 16% a grade 4 – so 83% of those who use this brand of hair dryer are happy with their purchase.
Clearly most of the review comments we found were positive, although naturally enough some were not supportive of the Elchim 2001 professional Hair Dryer. Some users had a problem with the power cord fracturing just below where it emerges from the hair dryer.
A lot of users were pleased by its relative quietness and the volume of air that it moved (apparently 15 liters/minute). The blow and heat settings provided a good range to choose from but there were a few comments that they would have liked a cold blow option. A few found the position of the temperature and blower option switches a bit irritating.
There were many comments about how the Elchim 2001 professional Hair Dryer cut the drying time of their hair, some saying as much as a half, and that it left their hair in excellent condition. A few people reckoned that with careful attention to drying they didn’t need to use their hair irons.
One point that did impress us was the number of people buying an Elchim hair dryer for the second and third time. Some users had between 6 -10 years out of their Elchim dryer.
Other users mentioned that the simplicity of the technology in the Elchim 2001 professional Hair Dryer, compared to ionic and tourmaline systems, was an advantage. The filter on the intake was seen as a good design feature. In fact people liked the design.
As mentioned earlier not all people will have the same experience that is why it is good to have a large sample for feed back.
The T3 Feather Weight Professional hair dryer has been designed for ease of use and to enable a fast drying time for your hair. It is light weight at just over fourteen ounces. The T3 hairdryer uses patented SoftAire TM technology that is designed to create a cone of heat that is even in temperature. The air is mixed in a vortex so the hot air emerging from the dryer has no hot spots.
The tourmaline crystals that produce the negative ions are crushed and then actually infused into the internal parts of the T3 Feather Weight Professional hair dryer. The tourmaline is not sprayed on. Negative ions diffuse water molecules in your damp hair to smaller particles to re-hydrate your hair and stop the static charge on the hair making it more manageable.
During our cyber travels researching the hairdryers we found that Amazon.com has a wide range of the top brands, including the T3 Feather Weight Professional hair dryer, at very competitive prices.
The heating for the T3 Feather Weight Professional hair dryer is generated from the infrared end of the spectrum. So with the combination of negative ion generation and infrared heating, hair is dried 60% faster apparently, and the hair is manageable and not “frizzy”. The faster drying rate tends to reduce the incidence of over drying or “cooking” your hair.
The electrical cord is 9 feet long and the T3 Feather Weight Professional hair dryer has two fan speed settings and two heat settings so that you can adjust the dryer depending on what your hair type is. There is a cool shot function that enables air at room temperature to be used to assist with styling.
The T3 Feather Weight Professional hair dryer has a filter on the back end which must be cleaned regularly to maintain the maximum air flow through the dryer.
The T3 Feather Weight Professional hair dryer obviously works on all hair types, but seems to do a good job on long, thick and coarse (unruly) hair. Naturally, overall results will vary from hair type to hair type. Apparently the concentrator nozzle is used for best results and keeping the dryer two to four inches from the hair is advised – the T3 Feather Weight Professional hair dryer doesn’t need to be any closer than this
The T3 Feather Weight Professional hair dryer is nine inches long, nine inches deep and three and a half inches wide, so is relatively compact, and as mentioned weighs just over 14 ounces (14.4 ozs).

T3 Feather Weight Professional Hair Dryer Reviews
The T3 Feather Weight Professional hair dryer seems to be a reasonably popular hair dryer with 46% of users rating it a 5 and 16% rated it a 4 which according to my math means that 62% of users were happy with their purchase. This proportion is getting a bit on the low side.
As with all products it pays to read any instructions that come with the product because in our experience quite a few bad reviews, for any product, arise because users haven’t read the manual.
Well most users found the T3 Feather Weight Professional hair dryer a good unit. From feedback it was relatively quiet and seemed to be a reliable appliance, with several instances of people replacing an old model T3 with this one.
Some users, on first operating the T3 Feather Weight Professional hair dryer, thought it seemed a bit “gutless” in terms of air flow, but were pleasantly surprised how effective it was at drying hair.
One user with thick hair reckoned she saved 10 minutes using this dryer and her usually troublesome hair was well behaved. A technically minded husband measured the air temperature of the T3 Feather Weight Professional hair dryer to see if it fluctuated – and found it was consistent between 190-210oF. This was in contrast to another older one they had where temperature spiked up to 260oF.
There was some negative comment about the position of the switches. While using the T3 Feather Weight Professional hair dryer it would turn off because the switch would be pressed inadvertently.
A majority of users made the comment that they were pleased with how easy their hair was to style after they had used the dryer.
There appear to be some issues with warranty which the buyer should check up on.
The Super Solano Professional Hair Dryer won the 2010 Professionals Choice Award held by American Salon. It is constructed of reinforced fiberglass and is driven by a weight balanced, high velocity motor. This balanced motor allows for a smooth operation and a longer life because there is less vibration on the engine bearings.
The motor also has a low “Electromagnetic Force (EMF) Rating” for improved environmental acceptance. The hair dryer is rated at 1875 Watts.
The hot air from the Super Solano Professional Hair Dryer is provided by heated ceramic plates which means the heat is infrared by nature which is apparently better for your hair (?) The production of negative irons is achieved by using tourmaline crystals infused into the ceramic plates.
For flexibility of operation there are three heat settings on the Super Solano Professional Hair Dryer and these are combined with two engine speed settings; Giving six possible hair drying options. The hair dryer comes with two concentrators so that you can change the air flow. Added to the heat options there is a cold shot option as well.
We have found through experience that Amazon.com has a wide range of some of the best brands and models of hair dryer, like the Super Solano Professional Hair Dryer, and at very attractive prices with great service.
An important part for hair dryers is an air filter and the Super Solano Professional Hair Dryer has a removable filter. This needs to be cleaned regularly to remove the risk of overheating due to the dryer being starved of air flow and consequent possible motor damage.
The Super Solano Professional Hair Dryer has a long cord for convenience and a ring so that it can be hung up and out of harms way when not in use.
Super Solano Professional Hair Dryer Specifications
- Balanced, high velocity long life motor

Super Solano Professional Hair Dryer Reviews
Well, what can you say about the Super Solano Professional Hair Dryer that is bad – not much when you consider that 78% of users rated it a 5 and 14% rated it a four, meaning that in total, 92% of purchasers were happy with their purchase. This is an impressive statistic.
The one thing that comes through clearly in the reviews is the reliability of the Solano products and the Super Solano Professional Hair Dryer. One person has had one for 10 years, which has been dropped several times, and needs replacing only because of the physical damage. There are other individual reports of its reliability.
Most users thought the Super Solano Professional Hair Dryer was quieter than the average hair dryer, and were impressed by the fact it was used in salons. Quite a few of the users had purchased this hair dryer because of a recommendation from a friend or their hair stylist.
Most were impressed with the heat and blow options available, with the fast speed producing impressive results. There were many comments about the time saved when using the Super Solano Professional Hair Dryer, and how nice their hair looked after drying it. A lot of users also mentioned that they used their flat iron far less.
There were several comments about the weight of Super Solano Professional Hair Dryer –from comments made it seems to be heavier than the average hair dryer – but the majority of users said this was far out-weighed by its excellent performance and results. The good balance of the Super Solano Professional Hair Dryer and the practical design also off set this.
There were two comments from users who thought the control buttons could have been put in a better place.
We are what We Eat !
If you want lovely, shiny, healthy locks, eat a nutritious diet and don’t stress yourself because of disorganization etc. Hair grows about half an inch a month depending on the health of the head it is growing from.
If you feel you can’t keep up a good diet then take supplements to allow your body to be able to utilize what is available. It has been shown that by taking supplements you may see an increase in hair growth.
Make very sure that the supplements are not synthetic, and if possible come from organically grown stock. Very Important – if you are not sure then go take look at the following site – this is not an endorsement and I don’t get paid, I use this brand and they are very good indeed: They have both Multivitamin and Hair,Skin & Nails supplements.
What about the Scalp ?
Combing your hair regularly from base to the ends will improve the health of your hair. Not only will it be easier to manage, especially if it is long, but it will help to redistribute the natural oils produced by your scalp.
This brings me to something you can do every time you wash your hair and that is give your scalp a bit of attention. As you wash your hair you can also give it a bit of a massage. Not hard by using fingernails, but a bit more gentle by using the tips or at least ends of your fingers. Do this for a few minutes every time you have a shower and your scalp will love you for it.
What happens here is that the action of the massage activates the blood flow to the scalp and so the hair follicles that grow your hair will get a better blood flow and so also get all the goodies it needs to make lovely hair, especially if you are looking after your body. Umm, did I mention we are what we eat?
Of course massage is good for relaxation and “de-stressing” ourselves. So it will help if you can get someone else to massage your hair dry – “I’ll do yours if you do mine”.
Cutting Hair Similar to Cutting Nails ?
Now the look of your hair is the goal, obviously, so to enhance this goal just remember that your hair is protein and basically not a living entity. By this I mean that when you cut your hair it doesn’t bleed ! This is sort of the same principle as cutting your nails, if you get where I am coming from.
Because our hair not living, we have to be extra careful how we treat it on a day to day basis. I mean it is exposed to the sun, free radicals, pollution, wind, dust so it can become easily damaged. One simple technique to make long hair look good is to take care of the ends. Remember the ends are the oldest part of your hair and the most fragile; The home of the famous split ends. In this regard a little prevention is worth a lot of cure so every 2-3 months get a 2 inch trim. This will remove the tired old ends and stop the split ends.
Also remember, it is thought that your hair does not grow evenly. So by getting a trim on a regular basis, your cherished style can be maintained for longer and you won’t have the hassle of a major cutting operation to bring your hair back into control.
Of course the use of things like Flat Irons or Hair Straighteners and Professional Hair Dryers need to be used in some moderation. Modern devices have improved the control the user can have and technological advances in this area have helped, but cooking your hair is not a good idea.
This is all pretty basic stuff but it really will be effective in having lovely hair.
On-Going Helpful (?) Advice
One thing I have heard that helps the look of long hair, which I haven’t tried (probably because I have short hair), is to wear your hair up occasionally. This reduces the level of exposure your hair has to cope with because a greater percentage of it is not exposed to the elements. Some experts say as much as 50% of the time is good. I can’t judge because as I said I have short hair, but it seems to me wearing it up 50% of the time sort of defeats the purpose of having long hair in the first place. On the other hand, you can’t wear your hair up unless it is long so …………………….
Now there are some ideas out there to give your hair a bit of a head start in the “look good stakes” which relate to things we do on a regular basis where slight changes can be beneficial to good looking hair.
We all know that static can be a right negative for hair control – which is interesting because it is produced by positive ions.
Anyway, look at ways to reduce static generation and to reduce the instances of your hair rubbing against itself. For example, use “slippery pillows” like pillows made of satin material because this may reduce the amount of rubbing together that occurs.
If you have dry hair be mindful of shampooing it too often. If you have fine or thin hair, don’t be seduced into using proprietary products that are supposed to reverse this situation – they don’t, and may dry your hair out.
Take a look at your grooming kit. Plastic combs may increase static, and some brands you may notice have edges left from the mold which can damage your hair. Take a look at your hair brush; a good brush will groom as well as massage – nothing too hard on the scalp.
Lastly read the labels on hair products and avoid any that have metal compounds in them.
